Wang hopes that the book can become a window for Bulgarian readers to understand China’s path, a key to comprehend Chinese wisdom, and a bridge for seeking mutual trust, shared benefit, and common progress between China and Bulgaria.

▲Zahari Zahariev delivering a speech

Zahari Zahariev stated that it would be impossible for the world to fathom China’s remarkable achievements without a comprehensive understanding of the country, the Communist Party of China (CPC), and Chinese leaders. Xi Jinping: The Governance of China not only summarizes the personal wisdom in governance of President Xi Jinping, but also embodies the experience of the CPC in leading the Chinese people for development over the past years, making it the best book for understanding China. With the publication of the Bulgarian edition of the book, more Bulgarians will gain an interest in China’s development experience and path, he said.

Lyuben Kozarev said that Xi Jinping: The Governance of China provides readers an opportunity for learning and reflection. Historians will find an uninterrupted history over millennia, political scientists will find the answer to what socialism with Chinese characteristics is, cultural scholars will see the new dimensions for national rejuvenation, and sociologists will think about new paths for social governance. For Bulgarian readers, he said, this book will be an important source of information for an in-depth understanding of China.
