BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) – The French, Russian, Arabic and Spanish editions of the first two volumes of Selected Readings from the Works of Xi Jinping (Selected Readings) have been published by Foreign Languages Press for distribution both in China and abroad.

On April 29 local time, a promotional event for the Arabic edition of The Belt and Road Initiative by Xi Jinping was held in Abu Dhabi. The event was hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Embassy of China in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), organized by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and the CICG Center for Europe and Africa (CICG Europe-Africa), and co-organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre (ALC).

On the afternoon of April 24 local time, a promotional event for the Arabic edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held in Cairo, the capital city of Egypt, under the auspices of China International Communication Group (CICG) and the Chinese Embassy in Egypt. The event was organized by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and CICG Center for Europe and Africa, and co-organized by Egypt’s Bayt Alhekma Cultural Industry Group. The Al-Dostor newspaper of Egypt participated in media cooperation.

On the morning of April 15 local time, a book sharing event for the Spanish edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, under the auspices of China International Group (CICG) and the Chinese Embassy in Argentina. It was hosted by Foreign Languages Press (FLP), the CICG Center for the Americas, and the Confucius Institute at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA).

On the morning of April 11 local time, a readers meeting for the Spanish edition of The Belt and Road Initiative by Xi Jinping was held in Santiago, the capital of Chile, under the auspices of China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Embassy of China in Chile. The event was hosted by Foreign Languages Press (FLP), the Center for the Americas (CICG Americas), and the Institute of International Studies of the University of Chile.

The event was hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Embassy of China in Bulgaria, and organized by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and Iztok-Zapad Publishing House.

On the afternoon of March 1 local time, a book sharing event for the Albanian version of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China was held in Tirana, the capital city of Albania, under the auspices of China International Communications Group (CICG) and the Chinese Embassy in Albania. It was hosted by Foreign Languages Press (FLP) and Fan Noli, an Albanian publishing house.

On January 30, the Signing Ceremony for the Memorandums of Understanding on Co-publishing Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume IV) was held in Beijing.

On the morning of January 30, the Conference for Promoting International Translation and Publication Cooperation of Important Works was held in Beijing. Hosted by China International Communications Group (CICG) and organized by Foreign Languages Press (FLP), the event was attended by representatives of well-known publishers and research institutions from 20 countries, who were in Beijing to sign the memorandums of understanding on jointly translating and publishing the fourth volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China in multiple languages.

MINSK, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) – The Belarusian edition of the first volume of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China has been launched in Minsk. Some 500 political leaders, government officials, representatives from think tanks and media, among others, attended the launch ceremony and a following seminar.

On November 27, the promotional event for the Thai Edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume II), hosted by China International Communications Group and the Embassy of China in Thailand and organized by Foreign Language Press and the Belt and Road Cooperation Research Center, was held at National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) in Bangkok, Thailand.
