This book is a fruit of a 10-year follow-up study on urban-rural reconstruction planning and implementation after the Wenchuan and Lushan earthquakes. The theory and technical system of urban-rural reconstruction planning after the Wenchuan and Lushan earthquakes are refined and verified in practice. The key planning technologies, such as geohazard prevention and control, residents’ temporary resettlement, town planning, site selection, cultural heritage protection, shelter planning, and accessibility design, are all discussed in the book. Moreover, the book analyzes the application of urban system planning, including urban planning, town planning, and village planning. Based on these, the urban-rural reconstruction planning and local standards management are thus formulated and implemented.
